I have wanted something like this for years. I still can't believe I found it.
StarStrider is fantastic. I just spent nearly an hour flying through Melotte 111 (the Coma Berenices Star Cluster).  I have seen it so many times from the ground, but never really felt like I touched it.
Congratulations.  You have authored a great work!
Don't tell anyone, but it's worth twice what I paid!

I loved StarStrider v1 but when I saw the screenshots for v2 and the price tag, I thought it would be more of the same with some planets chucked in for good measure. What changed my mind was the sheer high quality of the whole package. The planet earth is so beautifully rendered with the atmosphere and night lights, Saturn's rings and the lense flare are all absolutely beautiful, but until I saw these for myself, I was unconvinced. From the screenshots alone, I thought that freeware like Celestia was just as good and it wasn't until I ran your demo that I was convinced that StarStrider is in a league of its own!
I did a 35 second journey from one of Saturn's moons to the other and I could have sworn I was watching the opening titles to Star Trek: The Next Generation.
